Whenever I get new makeup, if for some reason it comes with a teeny little brush or useless sponge applicator, the first thing I do is get rid of it, because I have something better to use – the elf “C” brush – which is my entry into this edition of “Makeup Wars: Favorite Makeup Brush”.
This ridiculously inexpensive ($3USD, but they constantly have promotions if you buy it online) brush is my daily staple. It works as my lid covering brush, my crease brush, my blender brush – whatever I need it to do. It is firm enough to press the color into my lid, but flexible enough to spread it evenly all over. The bristles are not uber soft, like my Kevyn Aucoin brushes, but I wouldn’t expect them to be for the cost. I have more than gotten my money’s worth from these (*yes, I have 4 of these) brushes – without very much fallout or ferule loosening. I simply can’t ask for more than that.
I really do adore the “Studio” line of products from elf (*as you could tell from my $20 Makeup Challenge), including the Complexion Brush, which comes in second to my “C” brush, as I only have 2 of those.
Tell me – what is your favorite brush? Have you ever tried any of the elf “Studio” line?
Don’t forget to check out the favorite brushes of the other Makeup Wars challengers:
