Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara Makeup Wars: Favorite Mascara

This edition of “Makeup Wars” has us talking about out favorite mascaras. Now, anyone that knows me, or reads this site, will not be surprised in the least that I picked the Mally Beauty Volumizing Mascara. I really like this mascara for the main reason that it is a drier formula than a lot of other mascaras. It’s dry almost as soon as it is applied, which makes it really easy to build up layers. The big, full brush gets more mascara on my lashes per swipe. It doesn’t really separate lashes, it really goes more for the “drag queen” type of lashes. Even Mally would tell you that herself. icon wink Makeup Wars: Favorite Mascara

The pic is of one of the smaller tubes, with a shorter brush handle than what comes in the full-size tube. I just happen to be using this one right now, so it’s the one I took a picture of. You can pick these up on MallyBeauty.com and on QVC in a single tube, but if you pick up most any of Mally’s kits, there is usually one included.

What kind of formula do you like? A wetter formula or a drier formula? Let me know and be sure to check out the favorite’s of the other gals:

*Disclaimer: I really don’t know where this tube came from. It may have come from things I received as a Mally Beauty Ambassador, or from one of the kits I’ve picked up for myself from QVC. It’s def repurchaseable.

It’s so funny how we have such different opinions. I prefer a wetter mascara but I have tried Mally and liked it–just not wet enough for me.

I think my problem with this was that it was so dry. I have another tube though from a kit so I’ll give it a try knowing what you said. I love our variety. I have two more blogs to read and haven’t found a dupe yet. I wonder if I will.

  • Krystle

I didn’t really like this mascara, I prefer a more separating effect.

Have you tried the new CoverGirl Clump Blaster, in the green tube? It really separates the lashes & I haven’t seen it clump up yet. Might be worth a look. :)
