You guys – I was certain I was going to tell you about the Rouge Baiser red lippie because I don’t wear red. But then, something happened at Fashion Week. I was hanging out in the Maybelline Lounge in Lincoln Center, where they had a vending machine to give out samples of products. I chose the lippie because I was curious what I would get. Out came “Red Revival”.
I thought “Oh, that’s nice” and dropped it in my bag. But, then I got bored and pulled it out and put it on. PEOPLE. Let me tell you something! I don’t know what happened, but, I *liked it*. I kept it on and wore it out in public. IN PUBLIC, I TELL YOU.
It got to the point that I started my day with it on and even *reapplied* during the day. I do not do that!

So, yeah, I think I have found my Red and it’s as close as my nearest drugstore. What about you? Have you found your red yet?

    I used to exclusively wear red lips. Basically I did a lot of red lips & cat eye. Another great red is tarte lipsurgence Fiery.

        I’ve just never found one that I really thought went well with my skin tone – I am a plum gal all the way. This was actually quite a shock to me!

  Thanks! It’s not so much that I was afraid of reds, just the fact that I had never found one that looked good on my weirdo skin, so I gave up and gave in to my love of Plum. LOL!

You lucky girl getting this pretty lippie out of the magjc vending machine. This makes such a great story. Plus, this color looks amazing on you. That smile tells it all: this red makes you feel amazing too. That is the best part! I think I am going to have to try Red Revival too!

This is an *amazing* red. I like a red lippie, but I, too, have had a hard time finding *the* red. This, and (the long discontinued) L’Oreal Matte Maraschino have been the only two reds that have made me happy. What’s even betyter, as you mentioned, it’s as near (and inexpensive) as the nearest drugstore!

So, I was in the drug store yesterday and decided to pick up this color (it was on sale so it was meant to be). The minute I got in the car I put it on and fell in love. I too have been looking for a red that I like and this is IT. Today I have had so many positive comments. Thanks for posting about it!
