It really feels like it is going to be all drippy wet, but it’s just shy of that. It takes a sec to get placed on your face correctly, matching up the eyes, nose and mouth holes (making you feel a bit like Ed Gein, I hate to admit), but once it is on, it really feels nice and cooling, esp right out of the fridge. I left it on for a littl more than half an hour, while I chilled out watching tv and it still had some moisture in it. I patted my face dry and it really did feel smooth an plump. There was not any stinging or burning, and hardly any smell – making this a great relaxing mask.
