You guys know I love me a good Beauty TSV on QVC. And today’s deal is pretty amazing. It is the tarte Journey to Natural Beauty Six-Piece Collection, today only, for $59.94 (*a $165 value, fyi).

The collection includes:
(1) Amazonian butter lipstick in “plummy rose”
(1) Amazonian clay 12-hour full coverage Broad Spectrum SPF 15 foundation in choice of shades: Fair, Light, Medium, Tan or Deep
(1) lights, camera, flashes! statement mascara
(1) brow architect brow shaper, liner and definer
(1) Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in “fearless”
(1) limited-edition airbrush finish bamboo foundation brush
(1) cosmetic bag (*measures 10-1/4″L x 10-3/4″H x 1/2″W)
I’ve been playing with this collection for a while and a couple of the items really stood out for me and have become staples in my bag lately. First, the butter lipstick – creamy, moisturizing and almost balm like on my lips. And the color is almost nude on me, but just color in it to make my lips look not so pale in these winter months. Second, the brush – holy smokes! The softness this brush was so good that I just sat around brushing it on my cheek and arm for many days before I even moved it to the bathroom to use to put my makeup on. I just wasn’t ready to dirty it up yet. And then, when I finally DID use it – it buffed my foundation whisper smooth. And the bag – it has already become my new travel makeup bag. Done and done.
As for the other items, the foundation was a true full coverage product. Which means it was too opaque for me and my freckles. But, it felt good on, not heavy like some full coverage can be and it seemed to last a good 6-7hours on me before I saw any fade. It felt moisturizing, without getting all greasy, which was nice on my sometimes dry skin. I wasn’t a big fan of the blush, but that was ONLY because it was too sparkly/shimmery for me – those just never look good on me any more. On you? I bet it would be really pretty. ![]()
I need to play with the mascara and the brow shaper some more, because the both look to have nice potential – the mascara has a really nice sized brush head on it and the brow pencil is multi-purpose in one stick.
So, if you are looking to add some new tarte products to your stash, or even just wanting to get started with them for the first time, I highly suggest you nab this TSV today. What say you? Do you guys already use tarte on the regular?

When you look a little closer at the products you might be a bit worried about the colors – don’t be. I can tell you that the gold in the Volumizing Lip Gloss gives just a hint of sparkle and doesn’t overwhelming make you look all OG (*over-gold). The blush looks bright, but it really does blend down to a pretty natural flush color & the hightlighter just gives you a bit of glow, not glowY, if you know what I mean. Of course you know that the Face Defender is colorless because you remember reading about my love for it
You know what? Why don’t I just show you what I mean with the colors. The hightlighter on the far right just glows. I applied the blush very heavy at the bottom so you can see how I blended it in up top. I put the gloss on heavy so that you can see the barely there gold & the also the pink color. And you can see how nicely the Violet shadow stick works with the Black Cherry Liner. Now, this is on my pale skin, applied heavily – your results will vary depending on how heavy-handed you are on application.
